As your child grows steadier on his/her feet this toy easily converts to a child's first scooter that encourages balance, coordination, and timing. The fun rolls in high gear - in either mode!Younger toddlers may not be able to handle big ride-ons, but this one was made with very short legs in mind. The scooter-shaped rider (raised handle bars, wide seat, and storage below for Teddy) is only 9 inches high; just right for tikes who can't ride trikes. Large, wide plastic wheels support the lightweight frame, which makes it a good support for wobbly walkers and pushers, or those less than 3 years of age. The cool factor: the handlebar-dashboard has a lever for blinking signal lights, a faint horn, and an ignition button that makes realistic "motor" sounds.
